His father put down the knife and took the letter from Heath and
scanned it while Samantha read it over his shoulder.  "They want me to
register myself," he told his wife.

"Interesting," Samantha replied thoughtfully. "So what's the other letter?"

"I assume that's your invitation to Hogwarts?" Samantha smiled,
handing her son a slice of birthday cake.

"So what are you thinking about, Heath?" Collin asked. "You look a
million miles away."
