"It depends upon the type of magic," Harriet offers. "But most wizards
and witches use wands as a sort of focus for their energies. Wands are
very special. No two are the same, just as no two wizards are the
same. The trick is finding the right wand." She looks directly at her
son. "The right wand enhances your own natural abilities. But you will
both have a chance to pick out your wands soon enough."

Harriet smiles at her husband as she waits for him to open the entrance.
