"Don't worry. I'm sure there will be other first years who are new to 
all of this as well. And the teachers are all very understanding,"
Harriet offered as Ryan let the group through the back door into a
small courtyard. "It's that one dear," she said to her husband 
pointing at a brick in the wall before the  
 "Well, everyone is somewhat new to magic. No first year will gave really performed magic yet. So some grew up around it, it doesn't make a difference. The only thing that does is natural talent." Kadyn speaks this last part with a strange tone in his voice. "For instance, I grew up around magic, but I'll probally have no talent with a wand." He grins as if making a joke, but he honestly believes it to be true.

"You use wands? Can you also use your hands or a staff?" asked Amber.
