	Pamela's cheeks acquired a faint reddish tinge, but she said nothing. 
She took back her kit-bag from Warren Worthington and occupied herself 
putting it in order.

	"Did you get her the morphine, Mr. Fitzroy?" Pamela asked, not looking 
up from the open bag in her lap. "From where?" Military materiel did go 
missing in wartime. Pamela didn't grudge poor Nola Diamond some relief 
from her pain -- but if there was a leak, she had a duty to report it.
