[Hogwarts Between] First Year's Entrance

The witch led them down the center of the Hall between the tables. 
Everyone was silent.  Ahead of them was a grand 

table with everone sitting on one side facing the children.

She suddenly stopped and the line came to a halt.  She turned and
quietly said "Wait here until you are called."

She stepped forward and stopped next to a wooden chair and pulled out
from beneith her robes a scroll of parchment.  

An elderly man walked over to the chair and placed a ragged had on it. 
Everyone waited silently.

A tear near the brim opened and started to speak.

The witch opened her scroll.  "Avery, Paloma," she called and gestured
her hand to the chair containing the hat.
