[Hogwarts Between] Train Hopping

His Train, had been running late.

Kadyn's parents had come up with the brilliant idea of letting him stay with
there
muggle parents, starting right after their trip to Diagon Alley. After a
dreadfully boring
time there, he found out that he would have to take a two hour train ride to
Kings Cross,
Alone.

But his unaccompanied trip brought its own problems, as the muggles
questioned his
strange cargo. Kadyn told them that he was going to attend a funeral, and
that the
items in question belonged to the deceased. It got them to allow his trunk
and such on
the train, but people kept checking up on the young boy traveling alone.

The ride was extremely boring, because he couldn't do anything. Kadyn
couldn't read any of
his school books, in fear that one of the women who kept an eye on him would
inquire
about the book, and he couldn't even play with Hesetu, because he had been
instructed
to keep him in his cage at all times.

Plus, they were running late. Kaydn finally arrived on the platform, twenty
minutes after
the planned arrival time, and made a bee-line for Platform 9.

His father had told him that the platform was in the stone column in between
platforms
9 and 10. He hadn't thought to ask about it at the time, and regretted it
now. Kadyn reached
out and touched it, and felt himself get pulled through the column onto the
platform.

Kadyn looked around for anyone who looked familar, and walked casually
through the
platform. He came to the wall with the flyers for the various Diagon Alley
and Hogsmeade
stores, and posted one for his parents cafe

Looking at it proudly, Kadyn then turned and walked toward the edge of the
platform,
and realized the train wasn't there yet. He felt silly for rushing here, but
his thoughts were
interrupted by two people fighting down the way.
