Harriet raised her eyebrows questioningly as she looked at her husband
but refrained from commenting.

>Kadyn mumbled something under his breath. "That doesn't mean I won't
be visiting Hogsmeade..."

"Of course you will," his mother replied as she neared her son's side.
"Most definitely for the winter holidays. It wouldn't be the same
without you." Tears welled in her eyes but Harriet managed to keep
them in check. In that instant she remembered the first few moments of
Kadyn's life. He had been so tiny and helpless. It was hard to think
of him going off to school. Still, like all mother's she was proud of
her son and could not wait to see what his future would bring.

Another thought crossed her mind then, "Your very first wand! I can
still remember buying mine! Trust me, that will almost be as exciting
as the train ride."
