[Hogwarts Between] [HB] Owl Post - Heath

The owl arrived on Heath's birthday.  Actually, two owls arrived.  The
first had perfect timing, tapping its beak on the kitchen window just
as Heath had finished blowing out his birthday candles. When Heath's
mother Samantha opened the window, the sleek young owl sailed into the
room and presented its cargo to Heath with a formal little bow.

The second owl, however, was not so lucky - or graceful.  It arrived
just as Samantha was closing the window behind the first one.  The
poor bird hit the glass with a thud and fell to the ground outside.
The dazed owl shook its feathers indignantly, another
parchment-colored letter still in its beak.
