"Are you lost?" a very high, squeaky voice asked politely. When Heath
turned to look, he had to look down. Behind him was a very short
creature, barely coming to Heath's waist in height. She--for it was
apparently a 'she' by clues of the shapeless pink dress and matching
painted pink nails on hands and bare feet--gazed up at him
questioningly with huge, luminous dark eyes that would be the envy of
any anime character. Her pointed ears twitched.
