"I have not seen him since he was a third-year at Hogwart's. That's
when he came in for his wand--ash with a hippogriff feather core.
Springy, ash wands are," Mr. Ollivander replied rather dreamily. "It's
optimal to use the wand that is meant for you." His eyes drifted to
Kadyn. "Using a wand meant for another will often give you less than
satisfactory results.

"Which one of you young people would like to get measured first?" he
finished, pulling out a tape measure with silver markings on it.
