Judiciously ignoring the statement, Grey lifted Dot into his arms, more
gingerly than it would have seemed possible for the gruff warrior.
Following, he was made aware for the first time of Asha's injuries by her
movements as she led the way to the infirmary.

"What happened in there?" he asked Dot, his eyes never leaving Asha.

Dot muttered as she hung limply, her hands trying to help, "it was
electricity and evil, but I'm not sure who. Except that Asha seemed good.
And oil slick demon. And blood. I had to chase it away. It's hazy, a
little."

As Dot answered, Grey looked at her- really looked at her for the first
time. And though he said nothing, his grip on her became the slightest bit
more comfortable.

"There were lasers, too!" Suhuy piped up, helpful as ever. "Those were the
best. My -next- Pretty will have lasers, and I'll make it talk properly,
too.

"I might leave out the jack, though..."

As they reached the infirmary, it was apparent that Kayle had been busy-
expecting incoming wounded. She had drafted a couple of the residents to be
her assistants, and do whatever she couldn't in her current state. Though
she didn't look to good herself- her blonde hair was damp, and plastered to
her face, her pallor looked markedly unheathly- she wouldn't take rest until
she was sure that her charges were fine.

"Put her on that table," she said to Grey, looking up as soon as he entered.
Making her way to Dot's side, she asked "Where does it hurt?"

Dot leaned up a bit, "it's sore across my right thigh, with sharp pain about
mid-way on the inside." Dot then leaned back, but kept her eye on the woman
that was tending her. Not afraid, or worried, but curious.

Asha looked on from the doorframe, still weak from her recent ordeal. "So,"
she asked noone in particular, "is there any need now to meet that- being-
on it's home turf? That was *too* close for comfort, and I'm even less sure
of our capabilities to handle it in the Ether."

Dot twitched, "it lives in the Ether?"
